My sweet aunt April is one of my closest friends, and she finally got a happy ending. Her wedding was seriously magical. She got married in Sedona Arizona at this beautiful resort. It was a small wedding with family only, so we spent the whole weekend there. April looked stunning. how cute are they?!
The whole gang
dinner after the wedding. The twinkly lights made it so special. And there was a guy there who was playing the guitar, amazing.
the most tender moment. The Digangi’s first dance, I am so happy for them.

Okay so you know how much I love food… well Sedona’s food is unreal. The town is packed with darling, delicious restaurants.
My Top Favorite:
- Elote Cafe– No joke when I say this restaurant always has a line. The restaurant opens at 5pm and a line starts to form at 4.. we got there at 4:30, waited to put our names down then had an hour wait. But it is so so worth it. At the top of their menu it says “Creative, original, Southwestern & Mexican Cuisine” and that is exactly what their food is. You most definitely have to get the Elote, they are known for it. It is a Fire roasted corn with spicy mayo, lime, and cotija cheese… unreal. Also the Pork Belly Tacos and Sea Bass Asado are so delicious.
- The Hudson– This restaurant has such a fun environment. The way it is decorated is absolutely darling. The must have thing on the menu is the short rib slider. It’s an appetizer but seriously I could have that with a side of fries or a salad for my meal. SO good!
- Fire & Brimstone– We ate at this restaurant on our way to Sedona from the airport, so it is actually in Gilbert. It’s on a farm and in the same building are all these different make it yourself companies. Every bite was delicious. We got the homemade pitta and hummus, caprese, wedge salad, and two pizza.
- Wildflower Bread Company– Great spot for brunch. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes were killer also wish we could’ve tried the cinnamon brioche french toast. Salads are great too! So are their protein bowls and egg sandwiches. Really wanted to try the Frittatas, I’ve never had one but they sound delicious.
One night the guys decided to stay home and watch the BYU football game (depressing…) so they watched the kids and we did a girls night for dinner. Such a blast. Each one of these woman mean so much to me and have been role models to me growing up.
My dad is all about the outdoors, so he made sure we went on a hike each morning. We went on a hike to Devil’s Bridge, it was breath taking. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was.
Sedona now has a special place in my heart.
