MISSIONARIES

It’s taken me a minute to post this blog post because every time I start writing it I burst into tears. This was 100%, hands down, the hardest goodbye. On August 28th and 29th I said goodbye to my twins brothers for the next two years as they go and serve The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. We only get to email them once a week and then FaceTime on Christmas and Mothers Day. It is a big commitment for them to leave their family behind to go serve other families. Hunter is serving in Natal Brazil and Ian is serving in Guayaquil Ecuador. My sweet brothers are two of the most adventurous people I know and they take on life ready for the journey. I can’t believe the little boys I use to play on the trampoline with and constantly tease (lets be honest, I’m their older sister I had to ;)) have now grown up to be incredible young men. Proud is an understatement. I am beyond excited to see what the next two years brings them.
