We were supposed to be going to Disneyland for Sabrina’s Birthday but due to COVID-19 it got cancelled. Poor Sabrina was devastated about it… So we decided since we can’t go to Disneyland we were going to surprise her and bring Disneyland to her. We made her favorite treats at Disneyland including Mint Julep, beignets, chicken & vegetable skewers, pickles in a bag, and even a pineapple dole whip machine. All the party stores were closed so we had to get creative with decorations. We blew up a ton of balloons and made a Disneyland sign, we found shower curtain of the Disneyland Castle and hung it in the window, cut up little mickey mouse heads with black card stock and stuck them on the windows, and even found a pair of Mickey Mouse birthday ears for her to wear. Sabrina was out with her boyfriend and thought they were coming back to eat dinner with her family. I’d told Sabrina my parents weren’t going to let me out of quarantine so I wouldn’t be able to see here (which I felt so bad about), but the pay off was worth it. When she walked into her house we all through confetti and had Disney music playing. She was SOO surprised!! The rest of the night was spent celebrating sweet Sabrina Mae, my best friend and family out in LA.
*don’t worry we kept it under 10 people and made sure to sanitize extra
